October’s the month
When the smallest breeze
Gives us a shower
Of autumn leaves.
Bonfires and pumpkins,
Leaves sailing down —
October is red
And golden and brown.

October is one of my favorite months. A time to slow down a bit, watch a great football game, decorate for Halloween and get the soup pot ready.
A time to simply be in the moment.
