” I am of the opinion that my life belongs to the whole community,
and as long as I live it is my privilege to do for it whatever I can.
I want to be thoroughly used up when I die, for the harder I work, the more I live.
I rejoice in life for its own sake.
Life is no “brief candle” for me.
It is a sort of splendid torch, which I have got a hold of for the moment, and I want to make it burn as brightly as possible before handing it onto future generations.”
George Bernard Shaw
There could not be a better quote to begin Charity Matter’s birthday week and to sum up Charity Matter’s purpose and my own. Life is a gift to be treasured each moment and used for its greatest purpose.
Whats yours?

Beautiful! My purpose… Make a difference in the lives of others. I am fully living as I feel fully “used up” after 2 weeks of camp, yet somehow, I can’t wait for Friday so we can begin week three. GOD is good.
Thank you Stephanie for all you do for TACSC and to inspire so many with your leadership!
